How do I use this service pack?

Please Note:

If you are currently running WiFi Manager 4.3 or 4.5, please upgrade to version 5 first by using the service pack below. This would automatically upgrade you to WiFi Manager - Release 5.0 (Build No.5000.) [How to locate Build No?]

Please note that applying the patch will take around 5-10 minutes depending on the size of the existing data in your WiFi Manager installation.

Instructions to apply the Service Pack:

  1. Shut down WiFi Manager.
  2. Run the script 'updateManager.bat' (updateManager.sh for Linux) under the <WiFi Manager >/bin folder. This invokes the update Manager tool.
  3. Click Browse button and select the Service Pack file (.ppm) to be installed. Click Install button to install the Service Pack.
  4. Click Finish.
  5. Start WiFi Manager Server.

How can I find the Build number of WiFi Manager?

  1. In the Web Client, click the About link on top right of the page.
  2. You should see the Build number.
  3. Check the following image guide to locate the build number.
