Known issues
In the French version, custom display names that contain apostrophes will not be displayed correctly in certain pages.

Upgrade Pack (Version 5.1)
This Upgrade Pack is an update on WiFiManager 5.0 release, which upgrades it to WiFi Manager 5.1 version. The details about the feature enhancements, bug fixes, changes in this upgrade are given below.
Prerequisites for applying the Upgrade Pack
To apply this upgrade pack, you need to have installed WiFiManager 5.0 Build. If you are using a build prior to 5.0, please contact support@wifimanager.com WiFi Manager Support to upgrade your build to 5.1.

Bug Fixes
- Issue in discovering connected devices to the switch when multiple VLANs configured in them is fixed.
- Issue in binding the WiFi Manager web server to a specific IP address is fixed.
Known Issues
- For Cisco IOS1100 AP, in Services Configuration, 'Trap Destination' and 'NTP settings' are not configured properly through WiFi Manager
- For Cisco 1200, in device details page, the "Open" and "Shared" authentication is not recognised by WiFi Manager. They will be shown as "Unknown".
- Cisco VxWorks running in version 12.04 have some minor issues while setting up the security setting through WiFi Manager.
- Service template does not work for D-Link devices
- In 3Com 8750 Access Point discovery , WiFi Manager will be able to fetch only one SSID for each radio from the device eventhough multiple SSID's configured in the device.
What's in Release 4.5
New Features
- Support for the Intel 2011 AP and Nortel e-mobility
Models have been extended under this release.
- Support for two types of user categories is being extended
in this release. The users belonging to "administrator
" category will have full control over WiFi Manager
whereas the users belonging to "Operator" category
will have only limited privileges. The Operator category
will not be able to use any of the Administrative operations
under the Admin Tab.
- The user can now specify the IP address, DNS name and
the custom display name for a particular MAC address of
a device. These details will be used whenever WiFi Manager
is not able to resolve the IPaddress or the DNS name.
- The WPA2 security setting is now recognized by WiFi
Manager while discovering Cisco, D-Link and Proxim devices.
- The Support Tab is now enhanced with the addition of
Testimonial Link where users can share their feedback. You
also can access the team blogs from the Support Tab.
Bug Fixes
- The issue where "Three Poll missed" alarm
not being raised soon after the "one poll missed"
alarm, is fixed now.
- Issue in fetching Mobile Users information from D-Link
2700 and 7700 AccessPoint is fixed now.
- Under the Admin Tab -> Edit Network, the Telnet credentials
were not saved and put into effect. This has been fixed.
Known Issues & Limitations
- Configuring WPA2 Security Mode is not supported in
WiFi Manager. When any SSID with WPA2 Security Mode is configured
via WiFi Manager,it will be overwritten as WPA.
- For Proxim APs with firmware version 2.5 and above,
configuration of security and ACL is not supported.
- Issue in Security Setting in Cisco 350 VxWorks Access
Point.
- Eventhough D-Link devices will allow configuring multiple
SSID without VLAN, WiFi Manager mandates VLAN.
- The option to "Mark as" Rogue does not work
in Opera Browser.

- Support for 20 more models of Access points, taking
the total number of supported models to more than seventy.

and the devices connected behind those gateways. This
includes support for all the HSG, USG and AG models
and most of their firmware versions.
- SSH Support : Now WiFi Manager gives the option to
communicate with the devices using SSH to ensure security
during data transfer.
- Support to backup and restore data and other configurations
so that the installations can be seamlessly moved across
the machines.
- WiFi Manager now facilitates to repair the database
in case of unexpected database corruptions.
- Custom Monitors : WiFi Manager by default support
monitoring certain parameters of the device that it
manages, now the users will have the option to add new
monitors.
- New Channel traffic report is added, this will help
the Administrators to analyze the wireless traffic on
each and every 802.11 channel.

Access point that are already supported by WiFi Manager.
- Provision to add custom fields to store additional
device properties, these fields can now be used to store
information like the geographical location, information
about the supplier, their contact details etc.,
- Custom Display Name : Provision to change the name
of the devices to end user friendly names.
- Enhancements in Business Views including the support
to propagate status through the Business View hierarchy.
- Support for importing the devices information into
WiFi Manager through CSV files. Such CSV imports can
be scheduled to happen at anytime and even the business
views can be constructed automatically using the the
information in these CSV files.
- Options to configure the user interface, like the
number of alarms to be seen on the home page, number
of devices in the watch list etc.,
- Global configuration to configure the monitors.
- Option to change bulk of devices from Unknown to AP
