An IT Manager needs to see an overall picture of the Vulnerability Management status within the enterprise, to ensure that the network is well-protected from industry-known vulnerabilities. Security Manager Plus provides IT Managers with at-a-glance, graphical dashboard views of the vulnerability status for network devices (desktops, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, services, databases etc.) along with consolidated reports to assist in making informed decisions.
The Network administrators' role is to identify potential security threats on network devices, ensure that they are adequately warned and such threats are eradicated. The administrator has to perform vulnerability management tasks such as periodically scheduling vulnerability scans, track hardware and software inventory, detect open ports and block them, remediate vulnerabilities, and apply patches. Security Manager Plus helps network admins to carry out all these tasks within the corporate network, datacenter, and across different offices - all from a central location and finally helps safeguard the corporate network.
