Schedule Reports


Schedule Reports present a list of patch management operations that have been scheduled to be executed. It is a task-wise grouping of the following tasks :

The Schedule Reports views are alike for all the above patch management tasks, and they constitute the following information :

Schedules can be deleted by selecting the tasks from the list and clicking on the 'Delete' button. This will remove all the references about the task.

 

Scheduled Task Type Count Graph

The Schedule Report is enriched with a pie-chart which presents 'at a glance' information about what patch management task has been scheduled. It depicts the number of schedule tasks created for each task type (listed above), created in PatchQuest.

 

Each item on these charts is a link, on clicking which you will be led a corresponding patch list in the table view down below the graphs.

 

System Schedule Report

System Schedule Report groups all the tasks scheduled for each system. It is system-wise grouping of tasks.

 

To access this report, from the Systems view, click on the icon from the menu option that appears on mouse-over icon, against the system name. It displays a report on the different patch management tasks (Scan, Patch Deployment) scheduled for this system. If there are no tasks scheduled, then this icon is grayed out . The information displayed in this report is :

Patch Schedule Report

Patch Schedule Report groups all the tasks scheduled for each patch. It is patch-wise grouping of tasks.

 

To access this report, from the Patch Information view, click on the icon in the 'Views' column, against any patch. It displays a report on the patch management tasks (Patch Download, Patch Deployment and Undeployment) scheduled for this patch. If there are no tasks scheduled, then this icon is grayed out . The information displayed in this report is :

Service Pack Schedule Report

Service Pack Schedule Report groups all the tasks scheduled for each service pack. It is service-pack-wise grouping of tasks.

 

To access this report, from the Service Pack Information view, click on the icon in the 'Views' column, against any service pack. It displays a report on the patch management tasks (SP Download and SP Install) scheduled for this service pack. If there are no tasks scheduled, then this icon is grayed out

 

The Service Pack Schedule Report displays a graph of the scheduled tasks, along with the tabular information about the SP.

 

The information displayed in this report is :

Export and E-mail Report

You can export this report to any of these formats namely : pdf, html and xls. Click on the 'Export' link on the top of the screen to view the reports in an export-format of your choice.

 

Reports can be viewed and saved in a particular export format or they can be e-mailed to an address. Click on the 'E-mail' link and select the format which needs to be e-mailed, along with the e-mail ID and a custom message.
