Monitoring Quantum - ATL tape libraries using OpStor
OpStor provides monitoring and management of Quantum - ATL tape libraries - PX, P and M series

Prerequisites for Monitoring
- Ensure that the SNMP agent is running
- Register OpStor server IP address as trap destination
- Has the snmp community name configured as "public" ?
(If a different community is used , it needs to be specified when
you add the device via OpStor.)
Steps to add the device for monitoring in the OpStor Browser client
- Navigate to 'Admin tab' --> 'Manage Storage Devices' link in OpStor Webclient
- By default 'None' option will be selected
- Provide the IP Address of the Quantum tape library in the "IP Address" text
field
- If the read community is other than "public" , choose 'SNMP' option and
specify it in the "community" field
- Click "Add Device'.
