Prerequisites for Monitoring
- Ensure that the SNMP agent is running.
- Register OpStor server IP address as trap destination
Steps to add the device for monitoring in the OpStor Browser client
- Navigate to 'Admin tab' --> 'Manage Storage Devices' link in OpStor Webclient
- By default 'None' option will be selected
- Provide the IP Address of the Overland tape library IP in the "IP Address"
text fields
- If the read community is other than "public" , choose 'SNMP' option and
specify it in the "community" field
- Click "Add Device'.
