Linux Agent

LinuxAgent, running in Linux machines is used to get various system specific information. The information is used for proactively monitoring and managing the Linux systems. The information obtained is based on standard MIBs RFC-1213-MIB and HOST-RESOURCES-MIB and a pre-defined MIB called AdventNet-Linux-MIB. The information can be obtained from the LinuxAgent from any SNMP Manager. LinuxAgent, in addition to exposing information via SNMP, also provides information via HTTP which can be viewed from a Web console (Web Browser).
