Active Directory User Reports

Monitoring & analyzing changes in a windows active directory domain with many Organizational units and numerous users is essential, but viewing all the parameters & attributes of user in a domain through native console is tedious and consumes ample time.

ADManager Plus with its web based active directory user reports provides

complete insight into the user objects, their attributes, status and modifications done on them. User reports help the administrator to view all users in a simple table format, these reports can be customized by adding/removing columns. Administrators can refine these user reports to a particular OU and even export them to different formats like CSV, Excel, pdf, Html.

Note: Using user reports you can not only view the user's account attribute information but also modify and update it instantly.

The following are the 25+ reports exclusively for active directory user objects that provide automated information on all user attributes.

Account Status Reports

The status of users and their accounts keep on changing; keeping track of them is needed. “Account Status Reports" will assist the administrator by generating detailed reports on the following:
Disabled Users, Locked out Users, Account Expired Users, Recently Account Expired Users, Soon-to-expire User Accounts, Users in more than one Group, Recently Deleted Users, Recently Created Users, Recently Modified Users.

Nested Reports

Many a times administrator will face the situation where different users form a group and a user may belong to different groups, this information can be obtained from "nested reports " which generates the following reports:

Users in a Group

This report lists all the users in a group. If there is a sub group in the list, it again iterates all the child users from that group and produces the complete nested user list .

Groups for a User

This report lists all the groups for a user. If the group is a member of another group, it iterates the parent group also and produces all the nested groups for that user.

Group Based Reports

Group based reports provide the details of the users of a specific group. You also can view the list of users belonging to more than one group, including the members in nested groups.

Disabled Users

Provides the list of user accounts that are disabled by the administrator. The userAccountControl attribute is used to determine the disabled users in the domain.

Locked out Users

Provides the details of the user accounts that have been locked out due to frequent bad login attempts. The Account Lock out Policy specifies the allowed number of bad login attempts after which the account will be locked. “Locked out users” reports will help the administrator in handling this issue.
